Midnight, all is… well?

A piece I wrote has been published in my writing group’s zine. It’s fun to be able to reference a piece of my work featured elsewhere. It’s worth giving a read. Here’s a preview for Midnight, all is… well?

Lying in bed, I think to myself, “I need to sleep, I need to sleep.” Counting sheep doesn’t work. I envision them hopping the fence one by one, and eventually watch them all sleeping in a field while I enviously watch from the fencepost.
